Illusion 2

The “Illusion 2” series continues an internal exploration, focusing on the flickering borders of perception and the fragmentation of identity. These works depict the heavy burden of consciousness and chart a space where the line between what is seen and what truly exists becomes blurred. The figures here are not individuals, but reflections of a preoccupied mind. They are constantly besieged by extra eyes, overlapping faces, and compulsory coverings—as though the full articulation of truth is forbidden or impossible. The use of heavy charcoal combined with contrasting, intense colors (such as deep reds and strange violets) magnifies the weight and pressure of this mental state.
“Illusion 2” is an invitation to stand at the mind’s vanishing point; a place where silence is filled with muted screams, and the only path to survival is the acceptance of the uncertain, illusory reality of the interior self.
