Echoes of the Lost 2
Unexhibited
The Echoes of the Lost 2 series extends the previous internal exploration by focusing on the visualization of tensions and constraints imposed on contemporary existence. These works are no longer merely echoes of mental questions and lost memories; instead, they represent an attempt at the structural dissection of current physical pressures and limitations.
The anthropomorphic figures or sculptural forms are rendered with charcoal and dark colors and are often depicted as being bound and contained by thick, encircling bands. This physical containment is interpreted as a symbol of the internal suffocation and struggle that is rooted in both individual and collective memories. The fundamental contrast continues to govern the series: the heaviness of the confined forms is juxtaposed against the chaotic geometry and vibrant, contrasting colors of the background. This confrontation between the blackness of silence and the outburst of color calls the viewer to contemplate the contradictory and structured reality of the present moment—a world where ambiguity is not an artistic choice but the essence of the condition of living, and each piece is seen as a condensed reflection of time held in bondage.
