Biography
Seyed Reza Hosseini
Painter · Scholar · Poet
Born in 1975 in Neyshabur, Iran.
I have defined my professional path as a painter, designer, poet, Associate Professor, and university lecturer, and I am a continuous member of the Iranian Painters Association.
Artistic and Poetic Activities
Continuous artistic activities are pursued seriously and committedly in the fields of painting and design. The structure of these works is abstract and metaphorical, dedicated to the deep exploration of human experiences and dimensions of identity.
Parallel to the creation of visual artworks, poetic writings are also pursued; these works sometimes resonate with the images and sometimes independently express internal contemplations.
Education and Research
The academic path includes studies in Graphic Design, Painting, Art Research, and Aesthetics at universities in Iran and Russia. A Ph.D. in Aesthetics was obtained from Moscow State University of Culture and Arts. The main research areas are defined along the lines of Aesthetics, Contemporary Art, and Iranian-Islamic Art.
Academic Records
Teaching experience is included in the academic portfolio at the following universities: Tehran University, Shahed University, Semnan University, and Shiraz University of Art. Academic responsibilities consistently involve supervising Ph.D. dissertations and Master’s theses within the field of painting.
Over 60 scholarly articles have been published in reputable journals, and more than 12 papers have been presented at specialized national and international conferences. Research activities—including writing, presentation, and peer review—constitute a vital and ongoing part of the professional background.
